Using NIST Traceable Standards

PTC Metrology® accredited by A2LA to ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1. Certifications are NIST traceable and will include; as received and as returned data; a statement of uncertainty; laboratory conditions; and information on the primary standards. To assist you in choosing test points please refer to ASTM E-77 and NIST recommendations.

A2LA Accredited Certification (NIST Traceable)
Customer Selected Temp Points

This certification will contain the as received and as returned calibration results of the UUT at the point(s) selected by the customer. The points may be selected from the chart below. Information on the customer's UUT and PTC's calibration standards, statement of uncertainty, laboratory conditions and information on the primary standards will also be on the certification. Cost of the certification will depend on which temperature points the customer chooses. To assist you in choosing temperature points, please refer to ASTME-77 and NIST recommendations. Minimum charge for customer selected temperature points is $80.00 per instrument.

NIST Traceable Certification (non A2LA without logged points)

This certification is best for customer's needing only calibration traceability to NIST without the added cost of logging the calibration results, A2LA accredited certification, or meeting the requirements of ISO guide 17025. Although no specific points will be logged, UUT's referred to will be calibrated at three or more points over the UUT's range. This certification will not list any adjustments or out of tolerance conditions. Certification prices do not include labor, adjustment, repairs, or replacement parts.
