Infrared Thermometer and Black Body Source Calibration NIST Traceable Standards
PTC Metrology™
is Accredited by A2LA to ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 and offers calibration services for infrared thermometers using a high quality black body temperature source.
Temperature is measured with a Hart super thermometer and high temperature standard platinum resistance thermometers (SPRT) giving accurate results to 1000°C.
Certifications will include as received and as returned data, a statement of uncertainty, laboratory conditions, and information on the primary standards.
PTC Metrology™ will notify you by email when your instrument is due for recalibration, in accordance with the period of validity that your quality system specifies.
